Retirement Plus Plan
Employees hired after March of 2010 are eligible to participate in the Retirement Plus Plan.
Contributions to the RPP begin immediately with employment. All funds in the account belong to the employee as soon as the contributions are made.
The Retirement Plus Plan is an employer-only contribution plan through which BYU-Idaho contributes a percentage of your eligible annual compensation into the account. Right now, BYU-Idaho contributes a 3.5% equivalent of your compensation into the account each paycheck.
Preset Mixes: You can choose how your Retirement Plus Plan account balance is invested by choosing one of the five preset mixes offered by DMBA:
- Stock Only: 12+ years
- Long-term: 12+ years
- Intermediate-term: 5 to 11 years
- Short-term: 0 to 4 years
- Current Income: 0 to 15 years
