Is there a deadline to reserve on-campus housing?

Revised:  April 04, 2011

Note: It's important to note that when students provide a deposit and agree to the terms and conditions of the contract online, it is considered legally binding.

There is not a deadline to reserve on-campus housing, but we do encourage all students to plan ahead. When a student sets up their contract, he or she chooses his or her room and bed. The sooner a student sets up a contract, the greater chance his or her preference will be available.

All contracts are on a first come, first serve basis with priority given to current or returning tenants. Once the priority date is past, any student can sign up for housing for that semester. The priority date is a semester and a half before that semester begins.

How quick does it fill up?

Every semester is different and hard to predict how quickly on-campus housing fills up; however, generally speaking, Fall semester fills up the fastest, often before the Spring semester (April-July) begins.
