Full-time BYU-Idaho single students should plan to live in approved housing as long as they are a single student attending BYU-Idaho. Any exception to this policy should be cleared with the Housing & Student Living Office first (More about exceptions here).
We will occassionally get questions about parents purchasing a house for their children to live in while attending BYU-Idaho. In cooperation with the city of Rexburg, houses will no longer be approved for single students (See the converted house policy). As a guideline new Approved Housing units are asked to house at least 20 students and have an on-site manager (those interested in developing Approved Housing should contact Jon Phister, Owner & Developer Relations Manager).
