Rent at University Village is posted a month in advance and is due at the end of that month. For example, the rent for February is posted to your account January 1 and is due January 31.
In a situation where the semester or contract begins or ends in the middle of the month, the rent for that month is manually adjusted after check-in or check-out. Any extra payment made will be refunded with the deposit within 30 days after the check-out.
For example, if your contract begins in the middle of April for the Spring Semester, the rent for May posts to your account the first day for April and is due by the end of April. After check-in, the half-month of rent for April is posted to your account.
If your check out in the middle of the month, the computer will autmatically post the full rent price the month before. Upon check-out, any rent that is overpaid is refunded with your deposit.

The amount listed under the anticipated charge is an estimate that the computers generates for the entire semester. Don't let that number scare you: the most important column to keep track of is what is currently due which is found in the current balance column on your student financial summary.
