What are some differences between a townhome and flat?
Revised: April 18, 2011Some of the differences between the two-bedroom townhome and the two-bedroom flat are listed as follows:
- The townhome have 1.5 bathrooms whereas the flat has only 1 bathroom
- The flat has about 820 sq. ft whereas the townhouse are about 905 sq. ft. (which includes the stairwell); in the flat, the apartment is on one level and in the townhome, the kitchen, living room, and dining area are on the first floor and the two bedrooms and full bathroom are on the first floor.
- The flat has a larger pantry than the townhome storage area.
- The Master Bedroom closet in the flat has two sets of doors whereas the Master Bedroom closet in the townhome has one set of doors.
