BYU-Idaho Single-Student Approved Housing

 

All single students are required to live in BYU-Idaho approved housing, unless they meet one of the criteria that disqualifies them from doing so. The following are ineligible to live in approved housing:

  1. Those who are not admitted and matriculating BYU-Idaho students (degree seeking and admitted to a BYU-Idaho track).
  2. Students who have been dismissed for an Honor Code violation or evicted for violations of the BYU-Idaho Off-Campus Living Standards.
  3. Students who are on Academic Suspension.
  4. Single students who qualify as a family (have dependent or are legal guardians of dependent children).
  5. Students who are married.
  6. Students whose spouse has passed away.
  7. Students who are divorced.
  8. Students who are married but whose spouse is away for military duty, or who are otherwise not currently living with their spouse.
  9. Individuals who attend another institution not affiliated with BYU-Idaho.

 

If you feel you are an exception to this policy, please submit the Housing Exception Form for your situation to be reviewed by the Housing Office. Please note that exception forms from Continuing Education Students who are not admitted to a track will not be accepted. You will be notified on the status of your request. Student
