Introduction
The equestrian program at BYU-Idaho is making changes. All classes are taught by student peer instructors and we are able to offer different levels of riding and participation for students. Basic horsemanship I and II classes provide the foundation needed for a safe and enjoyable riding experience. After completing the Basic classes, there are multiple entry level modules to help teach different events horses are used for. If you want to further develop your skills and participate in more challenging events, then the Intro and Advanced Modules await you. Safety, skill development and wholesome fun are the core elements of the program. Explore this site further to find out where you want to start your journey. All classes are repeatable. Transportation is provided if needed.
