  • Teach various sewing and design classes: beginning sewing, home dècor sewing, children's clothing, practical homemaking, fitting and alterations. Developed online beginning sewing class that started its pilot January 2017.

  • Major resonsibilities included supervising four resident assistants, checking in and checking out students, monitoring counseling students and handling minor roommate disputes and behavior problems. Summar included monitoring weekly summer groups.

Administrative Assistant to Mountain Plains Regional Resource Center Director: July 1987 to August 1991

  • Major responsibilities included assistant office management, budget preparation and monitoring, purchasing, accounting and inventory reports, hiring and training new employees, assuring compliance to federal regulations. Frequently traveled throughout the nation.

Senior Secretart to the Mountain Plains Regional Resource Center Director: August 1986 to July 1987

  • Duties included technical typing (for six staff members), transcribing dictation (using shorthand and dictation equipment), filing, monitoring SpecialNet electronic mailing system, preparing materials and schedules for large conferences, assisting travel coordinator, purchasing office supplies.

Missionary Training Center - Provo, Utah
Visa Requirement Coordinator: January 1984 to March 1986

  • Monitored the visas of all non U.S. citizen missionaries in the U.S. and obtained necessary documentation for visas for missionaries assigned to areas outside the U.S. Served as secretary to the Travel Manager and supervised the office in her absence, assisted missionaries and others with their problems and questions. Also served as Japanese translator when called upon.
