The diagram to the left shows a section homepage, with the names of each section homepage feature.
Web Site Sections
The web site navigation bar is the same as the homepage navigation bar. Included on the web site navigation bar is the additional link byui.edu.
The byui.edu link enables the user quick access back to the main BYU-Idaho homepage.
Primary Section Header
The Primary Section Header is the bar which includes a picture, the logo, and the name for that section.
Secondary Section Header
The Secondary Section Header is a smaller bar than the Primary Section Header which includes the BYU-Idaho logo and Section Title, but no picture. This header is displayed on all pages except the homepage.
Section Navigation Bar
The Section Navigation Bar includes links and drop-down menus specific to the Web Site Section. Each Section Navigation Bar includes drop-down links to Home and Contacts. Depending on the purpose of the Web Site Section, the Section Navigation Bar may include other links and drop-down menus.
Home
The home drop down menu contains a link to the BYU-Idaho homepage, the section homepage, and possibly other section home pages.
Degrees
The Degrees link is located on the Section Navigation Bar for Academic Departments and links to the degrees in the current catalog.
Courses
The Courses link is located on the Section Navigation Bar for Academic Departments and links to the courses in the current catalog.
Departments
The Departments link is a drop-down menu that displays only on the Section Navigation Bars for BYU-Idaho Colleges.
Contacts
The Contacts link is a drop-down menu that displays on all Web Site Section Navigation Bars, and includes links to specific contact information for the organization or persons associated with this section.
