Site Navigation Bar byui.edu
The entire byui.edu website uses the Site Navigation Bar with drop-down menus that allow users to navigate the site.
If the Site Naviation Bar does not display or if it is only text links instead of drop-down menus,
click here to download and install the Java Run-time Environment.
All pages, other than the homepage, have a link entitled byui.edu. Use this link to navigate
back to the homepage.
Students
The Students link enables users to quickly and easily find student specific information and activities. Included is a link to "Student Access @ my.byui.edu" which enables students to login to a centralized gateway for access to information, links, email, and file access.
Employees
The Employees link enables employees to quickly and easily find employee specific information.
Alumni/Friends
The Alumni/Friends link enables quick access to BYU-Idaho Alumni related information.
Visitors' Center
The Visitors' Center link enables visitors to find information about BYU-Idaho.
Calendars
The Calendars link enables all users to find information about BYU-Idaho events.
Directories
The Directories link enables the user to navigate and find information relating to university organization web sites, employees, and students.
Help Center
The Help Center provides a consolidated resource for BYU-Idaho help and information.
Homepage Features
Besides the Site Navigation Bar at the top of the page, the BYU-Idaho homepage also includes several other features, including a Highlights section, an Events Marquee, two News Blocks, Access Points, Text Navigation Links at the bottom, and a Footer.
Highlights
Highlights include recent news and events, important notices, and special features.
Events Marquee
The Events Marquee displays selected events from the Events Calendar.
News Blocks
The two News Blocks display current news articles, announcements, events, and alerts.
Access Points
Each button below the News Blocks provides quick access to helpful functions, including the site index, search, and student log-in to my.byui.edu. Additionally, a click on the Quick Links button reveals 20 commonly visited locations.
Text Navigation
The Text Navigation links at the bottom of the Home Page provide an alternative text-based navigation method compatible with text-based web browsers, screen readers, and handheld devices. The Text Navigation Pages which contain the same links as the Site Navigation Bar drop-down menus are accessible from these links.
Footer
The Footer provides links to other institutions and the text home page.
