How to Share Your Calendar with Others
Outlook 2010 Calendar Sharing
Grant:
If you want to grant calendar permissions without giving send-on-behalf-of permissions:
Employee --> Employee:
- Right-click the calendar
- Change Sharing Permissions
- Permissions tab
Employee --> Student Employee:
(To grant calendar permissions to student employees please contact HelpDesk@byui.edu with the name of the Employee(s) and the Student Role)
Access:
To access a calendar that you've been granted permission to:
Employee --> Employee:
- Right-click "My Calendars"
- Add Calendar
- Open Shared Calendar...
Student Employee --> Employee:
- Ensure that you're logged in to Outlook using the department email address
- Right-click
- Add Calendar
- Open Shared Calendar...
Outlook 2011 (Mac) Calendar Sharing
Grant:
- Click Outlook > Preferences > Accounts > Select your account > Advanced > Delegates tab.
- Under "People I am a delegate for:", click the +
- Type respective name in the search box and click Find.
- Select the account and click OK > OK.
- Close the Accounts window.

Outlook 2007 Calendar Sharing
This Page details how to share your calendar with others in Outlook 2007. These instructions show how to change permissions for each person you share your calendar with.
Begin by Opening Outlook 2007
- Once you have opened Outlook 2007 click “Calendar” on the left.
- Click the down arrow to show the calendars you have. (The option shown “How to Share Calendars” is not the best choice to use.)

- Now right click the calendar you wish to share.
- Click “Properties”

- Once the Calendar’s properties page click the “Permissions” tab
- Then click “Add”.

- Search for the name of the person you want to share your calendar.
- Select them in the list
- Click “Add”
- Then Click “OK”

- Now from the Calendar’s properties click the user you added.
- You can now adjust the access you wish to grant them.
- The suggested default levels are "Editor" or "Reviewer".
Editor - Allows for complete view of calendar and can add and delete entries.
Reviewer- Allows complete view of calendar but cannot change any entries.
4. Once your finished Click “OK”
