Student Leadership Application

This application form is for all students interested in applying for leadership positions in the Heber J. Grant Program for Winter 2010. Students may apply for the Student Managing Director, Area Director or Coordinator position on the same form. Expectations for involvement are 6-8 hours per week for Managing or Area Directors and 4-6 hours for Coordinators. The application is for all areas of the program. Please submit your application no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, November 6. Call 496-3153 to schedule a ½ hour interview on Tuesday, November 10 between 4:30-7:30 p.m. or Wednesday, November 11 between 3:00-7:00 p.m.

Requirements

1. On track and a matriculated BYU-Idaho student for Winter 2010 (14 credit hours minimum to receive the scholarship).
2. Completed no more than 129 cumulative credits
3. BYU-Idaho cumulative GPA of 2.5 and no University restrictions.
4. Exemplary in living the BYU-Idaho Honor Code.
5. Attend and participate in the Heber J. Grant Leadership Council Retreat January 8-9, 2010. (Mandatory)
6. Attend the Leadership Council and Area meetings held Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning 4:45 p.m. (Mandatory)
7. Attend other meetings such as Open and Closing Social, All Scholars meeting, Student Leadership Forum, etc.
