Student Leadership Application

This application form is for all students interested in applying for leadership positions in the Heber J. Grant Program for Fall 2008. Students may apply for the Student Managing Director, Area Director or Coordinator position on the same form. Expectations for involvement are 6-8 hours per week for Managing or Area Directors and 4-6 hours for Coordinators. The application is for all areas, though students may express interest in working in any area: Ambassadors, Applications, Mentors, or Instructors. Please submit your application no later than 4 p.m. on May 23, 2008. Call 496-3153 to schedule a ½ hour interview on Tuesday, May 27 between 4:30-7:30 p.m. or Wednesday, May 28 between 3:00-7:30 p.m.

Requirements

1. On track and a matriculated BYU-Idaho student for Fall 2008 (14 credit hours minimum to receive the scholarship).
2. Completed no more than 129 cumulative credits
3. BYU-Idaho cumulative GPA of 2.5 and no University restrictions.
4. Exemplary in living the BYU-Idaho Honor Code.
5. Attend and participate in the Heber J. Grant Leadership Council Retreat June 13-14, 2008. (Mandatory)
6. Attend the Leadership Council and Area meetings held Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:45-6:00 p.m. (Mandatory)
