Applied Associates Degree in Paramedicine (356)
The Paramedicine degree's intent is to prepare graduates for National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Paramedic certification and licensure in most States. Course work follows the U.S. Deparment of Transportation model. Para 181, Bio 264, Bio 265, FDMAT 108 or higher, and Chem 101 are the prerequisites to admission to the Paramedic program Concurrent enrollment in the prerequisites at the time of application is allowed. Application deadline is June 1st. Students admitted will attend three consecutive semesters: Fall, Winter and Spring, and will then do their internship.
