Looking for jobs on the Internet or going into a firm will not always get you a job. If you have been networking successfully, then finding a job after graduate school can be possible.

  • Look for internship or shadowing opportunities.
  • Reach out and offer assistance to others and develop good communication skills while making new friendships. (Getting to know others and being genuine could open up doors to others who may know someone in a firm or other area you may want to work in.
  • Be open to taking on lower paying jobs in the office or area of where you want to work. By doing this you can get your foot in the door by learning how their business runs.
