Campus Tours
You may think you already know campus, but this tour will help you discover important campus resources you may not know even existed to help you during your time at BYUI! Don’t forget to bring your class schedule with you so you can locate the buildings you will have class in during the tour.

Cultural Student Connections
New students from diverse cultural backgrounds are encouraged to attend this session.
Get Connected Registration
New students must register for Get Connected during one of the Get Connected Regisration times and lcoations. Here you will be given a name badge, schedule, map of campus, and your I-Team number. The cost is free.
Housing Complex Move-ins
Move into your on-campus or off-campus housing complex beginning at 8 a.m. If your complex informs you that you will not be able to check-in at 8 a.m. then please contact our office immediately by calling 208.496.2169 or by sending an e-mail to spiritevents@byui.edu.
I-Card Distribution
Pick up your I-Card (student ID) on the Move-In/Student Services Day or later during the week. Be sure to dress according to the BYU-Idaho Dress and Grooming Standards.Students who are not dressed appropriately will be asked to return home and change. Be sure to bring photo ID and your I-Number with you.

I-Night Extravaganza
Have fun at I-Night. Get in on the fun and excitement at BYUI’s biggest back to school bash held at the start of each semester. This event is for all BYUI students and includes great entertainment, fun, rides and more for only $5.00! Food will also be available for purchase at I-Night. Tickets are available for purchase now by calling 1.800.717.4257 or online through the BYUI Ticket Office. Tickets will also be available at the door. Individuals with pre-purchased tickets will not have to wait in line at the door. Food is extra!

Morningside Breakfast
Enjoy the free Morningside breakfast with your I-Team prior to the Morningside with President Clark. Don’t forget to bring your scriptures as well as paper and pen so you can take notes during the Morningside.
Morningside
Attend the Morningside with your I-Team and be prepared to be taught by the spirit. At this meeting you will also have the opportunity to participate in the BYUI Learning Model through an interactive discussion with President Clark. Be sure to bring your scriptures and pen and paper with you to this session.
New Student BBQ

Meet your I-Team, a grouping of new students led by two peer mentors, and kick-off your BYUI experience with food, music, games, discussion, prizes and fun. This event is similar to other new student orientation events held across the country and is designed to help you meet new people and make friends on your first day at BYU-Idaho. I-Teams will also be made available for Married Students and Transfer Students.
Local Student Connections
Local students living at home and commuting to BYU-Idaho are invited to participate in this session. Students from Madison, Jefferson, Fremont, Teton, Bonneville and Bannock counties are encouraged to attend.Back to Top
New Student Activity
The New Student Activity is fast becoming one of the highlights of the Get Connected experience. New students are invited to showcase their performing talents whether they be juggling, comedy, voices, singing, playing musical instruments,dancing, twirling and more. Auditions will be held prior to that evening. For audition information, contact the Student Spirit Events office by calling 208.496.2169 or sending an e-mail to spiritevents@byui.edu. The event is free for all who participate in the Talk About one hour prior, otherwise there is a $2.00 admissions fee.
New Student BBQ

New Student/Parents Luau
New students, parents and families are invited to enjoy a Polynesian luau featuring food, music, entertainment and crowd favorite – Samoan fire dancing.
This event has traditionally sold out so
plan ahead and order your tickets in advance by calling the BYU-Idaho Ticket Office at 1-800-717-4257 or online. The cost is $18 per person when purchased in advance or $19 at the door if tickets still remain. Each person attending must have a ticket. Tickets are non-refundable.Seating is first-come, first-seated. Patrons arriving 20 minutes or more after the doors open should not expect food lines to be open or group seating to still be available.
Parent Connections
Parents will have the opportunity to hear a special message from President & Sister Clark as well as have the opportunity to participate in a question and answer session with the BYUI administration. For many parents, this sessions has been a highlight of their experience.
Parking Permits
Obtain a parking permit for on-campus parking at the BYUI Parking Services office located on the first floor of the Kimball Building. Back to Top

Service Project/Lunch
Catch the spirit of service and help make a difference in the lives of others by participating in an LDS Humanitarian Service Project. A free lunch is also included.
Spirit of Ricks Showcase
The Spirit of Ricks Showcase is a one hour multimedia musical production that hightlights the Spirit of Ricks on the BYU-Idaho Campus.
Student Administrative Services
Take care of student administrative needs in the Kimball Building. Here you will learn about important studentissues through interactive presentations and activities. Those who attend this session will be given free admission to the New Student Activity.
Transfer Student Connections
New transfer students to BYUI are strongly encouraged to attend this session which is led by the Student Records and Registration Office.
University Store Textbook Pickup
Purchase your textbooks from the University Store, located on the first floor of the Manwaring Student Center.. Photo ID and I-Number (student ID number) are required. Textbooks can also be reserved and purchased in advance online and pre-packaged for pick up. See www.byui.edu/bookstore and select "textbooks" for more information.
