March 12- Geology Society potluck lunch. Bring your favorite dish, salad or dessert. Be prepared to eat, socialize and listen to a presentation by Brother Clayton on his doctoral theses. Meet at 12:30 pm in Romney 268 (SW corner; 2nd floor). **If you would like to join Geology Society, come into Romney 150 to sign up!
March 16- Join Geology Society for a fun hike on the Menan Buttes! Meet at 1 pm in the snow parking lot (near the Romney) to carpool. Bring snacks and plenty of water. Come prepared to learn about the fascinating geology of the Snake River Plain! *In case of snowy weather, bring your sleds and we will go sledding in town instead. **If you would like to joing Geology Society, come into Romney 150 to sign up!
