Taught by Carleen Tanner
|Friday, August 2||2 p.m.||Austin 105|
Carleen Tanner received a B.S. from Brigham Young University in Nursing. She has been teaching CES Positive Parenting/Marriage classes for the past 22 years in the Boise Valley. She has nine CDs and lectures throughout the valley.
She and her husband, Mike, were married in the Salt Lake Temple. They have 10 children and 36 grandchildren.
Tanner has served in the Young Women program, Primary, and Relief Society on ward and stake levels. She is currently teaching the 10-11 year olds in Primary and is serving as a service missionary with her husband for the BYU-Idaho Pathway Program. She loves being with her children and grandchildren.
The fast pace of these latter days seem to bring stress and adversity. Sometimes daily life seems overwhelming. In this class we will discuss ideas on how to manage the emotional challenges that come when we have family, marriage, or personal trials and burdens that are hard to bear.
