Janie Fisher had the pleasure of growing up in a small Idaho town. She has traveled to many places around the world, but prefers the potato state to any other location. She graduated from BYU in Provo and served a mission for the LDS Church in Argentina. She has worked as a teacher in the Missionary Training Center and Seminary Teacher for youth. She has been a local and regional director for the National League of Jr. Cotillions and helped write their corporate training program. She and her husband served as their national dance directors for several years. She is the owner and director of the Idaho Ballroom Academy, runs a summer dance camp and a national championship competition. She is adjunct faculty for the BYU-Idaho dance department where she supervises the ballroom student teacher program. She and her husband Shawn are the parents of seven delightful children.
