College Overview

 Mission Statement

The mission of the College of Education and Human Development is to help students understand their unique, divine potential and to exercise their agency in building and strengthening the family, the Church, and society.

Building on this institution's rich legacy, we offer a curriculum based on the scholarship of learning and teaching. By study and by faith our students seek revealed truths. They discover the standards of knowledge set by their respective disciplines. They learn to understand and apply principles that are firmly rooted in doctrine.

Being part of a worldwide church, we welcome students and faculty with diverse needs and expectations. As we do so, we hold our faculty and students accountable to their commitment to high standards, including the Honor Code, thus promoting integrity, unity, and charity.
