"The hallmark of Brigham Young-University Idaho is the Spirit of Ricks. This caring, friendly and helping attitude is reflected in the way student problems are solved."
Dean of Students
The Dean of Students office was established in August of 2006 to enhance the service to students as a part of the newly created Student Services and Activities division under Vice President Garth Hall. The focus of the Dean of Students will be on coordinating help for students through the Well Being Council in addition to other assignments given.
Students are encouraged to resolve issues and difficulties at the lowest level possible. When they have questions or need assistance in finding a solution to a problem they should make an appointment with the Dean of Students for his assistance and recommendations.
