Hello dancers, I wanted to give you a heads up on an amazing opportunity. We (the dance department) have been invited to BYU-Hawaii fall semester (2014) for a cultural exchange. This adventure will be during the week of Thanksgiving and will take the place of Collegiate dance for the semester. We will still perform here on campus in Extravadance and then pack our swim suits and fly into Honolulu. There will be a small cost on your part of $500.00 so start saving up now, everything else will be covered by the two universities. We will be performing, teaching, involved with the youth, and, of course, hitting the beach, the Polynesian Cultural Center, Pearl Harbo,r and much, much more. I am looking for 20 dancers of all backgrounds....ballet, ballroom, world, footworks, modern, jazz, etc.... We will put together a variety of dances along with combined dances involving BYU-Hawaii. Planning is already under way and both departments are very excited. If you have any questions you are welcome to contact me. Aloha
