Winter 09 Semester Scholarships

We are now accepting applications for Fall 08 Semester scholarships. The deadline for all applications is Friday, October 24, 2008. Awards will be made and announced before the end of Fall 08 Semester.

Application forms can be found on the Communication Department Web site. Students can also pick up forms at the Department of Communication office in Spori 229.

Please remember the following points:

• At this time the Communication Department is only offering scholarships for Winter 09 Semester.

• Applications must be submitted by Friday, October 24, 2008 by 5 p.m. to the Communication Dept. Office (Spori 229).

• Students who have talent-based interest or outstanding academic merit are encouraged to apply.

• Scholarships will not be awarded for financial needs. Students with financial needs are encouraged to apply directly to the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships for more information.

• We will not be offering full tuition scholarships. However, we will offer a number of smaller awards

• If you are interested, check the eligibility requirements, fill out the application and include your transcript, your own letter of need, a letter of recommendation and a resume or portfolio.

• Awards will be made and announced before the end of Fall 08 Semester.
