Chilean tenor Leon de la Guardia will perform an evening of Italian and Spanish love songs. A native of Viña del Mar, Chile, Leon began his singing studies at the Conservatorio de Musica Isidor Handler in Viña del Mar, and later attended the Conservatorio de Musica de la Universidad Catolica in Valparaiso. After traveling to Europe, he joined the Cor Jove del Palau de la Musica Catalana, and began private lessons with Tony Marsol in Barcelona, Spain. His quest for self-development took him all over Europe, studying under the tutelage of different singing masters. He is currently perfecting his craft studying under Mariselle Martinez and Antonio Carangelo in Vienna, where he resides.
