About Center Stage

The Center Stage Performing Arts Series is sponsored by Brigham Young University-Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho. The mission of Center Stage is to provide a wide variety of academic, cultural, social, and spiritual experiences in the performing arts to BYU-Idaho students, university employees and their families, and the local community.

Unlike the university’s Activities Program that features student performers, most Center Stage events feature professional music, dance and theatrical performers and groups. Center Stage events are held during the Winter, Spring and Fall semesters and range from classical performances to popular concerts.

Center Stage also works closely with the BYU-Idaho College of Performing and Visual Arts in organizing workshops and master classes for university students by professional performers who are visiting campus.
