Arrival Time and Check-in

All participants should arrive before registration. See individual programs for specific schedule information.  (AFY and OYA check-in is in the Hart South Foyer while EFY check-in will be in the Taylor (Sessions 1-5) or Hinckley (Sessions 6-7)

 

Group assignments and other program information will be given at Registration.  An orientation shortly follows to answer questions, review the agenda, standards, and other pertinent information.  

 

Parking

Temporary parking for AFY and OYA participants is in the Stadium South parking lot. This lot is only available during check-in and check-out time and is not available for overnight or long-term parking. EFY temporary parking is near the Taylor Building. If this lot is full, please drop your youth off and find parking on the surrounding streets.

 

Youth are not allowed to use personal vehicles during the program. However, if a participant requires parking during the week, they should determine where approved parking is and acquire any parking permits during registration.

 

Departure

Programs end at various times. See individual programs for specific schedule information. Please make sure proper arrangements for traveling home have been made.

 

 

Shuttle Services

BYU-Idaho Shuttle Service

Continuing Education offers a shuttle service between the Idaho Falls Airport and the BYU-Idaho campus for participants arriving by plane. 

 

Arrival Shuttles (Idaho Falls Airport Only)

• Sunday – 4:30 p.m. (Early Arrivals only)
• Monday – 12:30 p.m. (AFY, OYA, and EFY)

 

Departure Shuttles (Idaho Falls Airport Only)

• Friday – 3:30 p.m. (AFY and OYA-will wait for OYA bus)
• Saturday – 7 a.m. (EFY)

 

Shuttle fees are $15 per person each way. The deadline for shuttle reservations is one week prior to the program start date. A reservation is required to ensure shuttle service.

Salt Lake Express operates a special early Monday morning shuttle for AFY, EFY, & OYA in addition to their regular Salt Lake City departures. This early shuttle departs from the west side of the LDS Conference Center at 7:30 a.m. and from the Salt Lake Airport at 8 a.m. each Monday. This shuttle is scheduled to arrive at BYU-Idaho at 12:35 p.m.  If you make your reservation online, enter the Discount Code of ZEFY09 to receive special pricing of $29 each way. This price is only valid for AFY, OYA, and EFY participants.
