Nursing Classes Online: Registration Information
Your major code will be changed after your acceptance into the RN to BSN Program and the receipt of your Acceptance Form by the Department of Nursing. After your major code is changed, you will be able to register for your nursing classes. You will be able to register for General Education / Foundations courses as soon as you meet the credit requirement on the registration calendar.
All RN to BSN classes are offered on-campus, and online through Continuing Education (CE). All current BYU-Idaho RN to BSN students are able to enroll in the online sections of RN to BSN courses.
Please be aware of the following:
- Each BSN course has 3 sections: 2 are online and 1 is on-campus
- Online RN to BSN sections are charged an additional Advanced CE Tuition Fee of $68 per credit.
| Section | Class format | Eligible Students |
| 1 | On-campus | Both tradition and non-traditional students. |
| 701 | Online | Only students with an admission status of "off-campus." |
| 930 | Online | All students whose admission status is not "off-campus." |
I don't know my admission status/type. Where can I find out what it is?
All BSN students are eligible to enroll in an online section of all BSN classes. You may check your admission type online or call the Admissions Office at (208) 496-1020.
OR
Since most online BSN students are "Off-campus Program" students, you should first try the Section 701 link below. If the system does not accept your attempt, then please use the Section 930 link. If you continue to have problems, please call the RN to BSN Program's Office Assistant at (208) 496-2305 for assistance.
Registering for courses
Please return to the on-campus registration page if you need to register for Section 1.
Before registering for the appropriate online section, review your assigned completion plan of the nursing classes and register accordingly. If you register for a class you are not scheduled for, you will be required to drop. If you need a change to your schedule of nursing classes, you must submit and have an approved petition.
