Nauvoo Student Tours: Main Info
What is a Nauvoo Student Tour?
The Nauvoo Student Tours are a fast-paced bus tour that allows students to see church history sites that they may not be able to see again in a lifetime. Tour such sites as Independence, Liberty Jail, Adam-ondi-Ahman, Nauvoo, Carthage Jail, and Winter Quarters. Continuing Education sponsors these tours in conjunction with the Religion Department, and each tour is led by two Religion Faculty members. These tours are an uplifting, spiritual experience for the participants.
When does The Nauvoo Student Tour take place?
A Nauvoo Student tour is scheduled for each semester. This year's dates are as follows: NOTE: There will not be tours held in March or June of 2008.
- Fall: October 9-13, 2008
Participation Requirements
You must be a full-time BYU-Idaho student to attend. (You don't need to be on track, just enrolled as a full-time student.)
Cost Information
The Nauvoo tour is $300 per student. Students must pay when they sign-up. The cost must be paid by check, cash, or credit card. (Master Card or Visa only). We do not accept American Express or Discover. We cannot put this charge on a student account.
Registration Information
Registration may be completed for any of the three sessions at any time prior to the tour. Please register early to ensure a spot for yourself.
