What Are High School Concurrent Enrollment Classes?
High School concurrent enrollment classes give high school students the opportunity to receive both high school and college credit. For the 2009-2010 school year, Madison High School will only be offering BIO 250 Environmental Solutions for concurrent enrollment from BYU-Idaho.
When Are High School Concurrent Enrollment Classes Offered?
BIO 250 will be offered during the 2nd and 3rd Trimesters for the 2009-2010 Madison High School year.
Participation Requirements
Students must be a high school senior in order to register. High school juniors may register with approval from their principal. An application and more information will be provided to the Madison High School students prior to each trimester. BYU-Idaho policy dictates that student must be 16 years old at the beginning of the course to be considered for credit.
Cost Information
BYU-Idaho credit for BIO 250 taught at Madison High School is $65 a credit. (4 credits X $65 = $260)
