Registration for Fall 2009 GRE will begin on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at 8 a.m. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and is open to the first 30 people. No exceptions will be made, so please register early.
What is the GRE Test Prep Course?
The GRE Test Prep Course is a course to assist students planning to take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE)® for graduate program admission. This comprehensive review course provides:
- complete preparation for testing
- graduate school application preparation
- classroom lessons
- practice tests
- skill review exercises
- a CD-ROM for additional home skill-building and testing practice
- actual pre and post test simulation and evaluation.
Classroom lessons are a combination of :

a review of the GRE tested skills and concepts
- easy-to-difficult problem solving
- illustrative problems
- timed quizzes for each GRE subject including: analogies, antonyms, reading comprehension, sentence completions, graphs, discrete quantitative, analytical writing, and quantitative comparisons.
- review of substantive concepts and skills, strategies, tips, and explanatory answers
When does GRE Test Prep Course take place?
GRE Test Prep Courses take place in the fall and winter semesters. The next session will be held fall of 2009. Classroom instruction will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings, for seven consecutive weeks from 6 - 9:30 p.m. For a more detailed class schedule go to:
Participation Requirements
Participants of any race, color, creed, and ethnic or national origin, or religion are accepted for admission provided they maintain the university standards while on campus. (See BYU-Idaho's Honor Code). These include modesty in dress and conduct and abstinence from alcohol, tobacco, coffee, tea, and harmful drugs.

Cost Information
Course cost is $399. This includes all classroom materials, skill-building and practice test CD-ROM, pre and post practice tests, and evaluations. Payment is due at time of registration.
