What is the Boise Youth Spectacular (BYS)?

The Boise Youth Spectacular (BYS) is an engaging three-day testimony-building experience for young adults held at the Boise State University (BSU) campus and the BSU LDS Institute of Religion. Workshops, games, a talent show, a dance, and a concert make for three days that the youth will never forget. Devotionals, a morningside, and a wholesome environment make for spiritual experiences that the youth will always remember.

 

Where and When?

The Boise Youth Spectacular is held at the Boise State University (BSU) campus in Boise, Idaho, from Tuesday, July 21, to Thursday, July 23, 2009. The program is administered by BYU-Idaho and is hosted by the Boise State University Institute.

 

Participation Requirements

Youth ages 14 up to those that will be seniors in high school for fall of 2009 are invited to attend. Those that graduated in 2009 may not register as a participant in the program but are eligible to serve as counselors. All participants must abide by the honor code and dress requirements. See the program flyer for more details.

 

Participation is limited to those who will not miss any portion of the Boise Youth Spectacular.

Cost Information

• BYS pass with housing                                     $95
  Includes two nights lodging and all meals (no lunch on Thursday) 

 

• BYS daytime pass (without housing)             $50
  Includes dinner on Tuesday and lunch and dinner on Wednesday
