Badger Creek: Self-Managed Programs
We are very happy to announce online registration for our summer 2010 Badger Creek Programs. Please see the detailed directions below.
Three and five day self-managed programs are offered at Badger Creek for groups such as Girl's Camps, etc. to plan their own program, while having the chance to incorporate some workshops into their schdule.
Note: Not all workshops are included in the Self-Managed programs. The Resident Supervisor will meet with the leaders during the first day, at their camp, to talk over which workshops will be incorporated into their specific program. Horseback riding is an extra $10 per person.
What Does Badger Creek Provide for Self-Managed Programs?
- Lodging--cabins (each cabin houses six in three bunk beds). Each cabin has heat and electricty, but no cooking facilities.
- Refrigerator to hold food
- Workshops (the number depends on group size and number of days staying)
- Ampetheater and fire pit
- Covered pavilion for cooking with picnic tables
What Would Each Group Provide?
- Own food
- Own schedule/intinerary
- Cooking kitchens/camp stoves, etc.
When Are Self-Managed Groups Planned At Badger Creek?
The following time periods are available:
- June 28-30
- June 30-July 2
- July 12-14
- July 14-16
- July 19-23 (Five day)
- July 26-28
- July 28-30
- August 2-6 (Five day)
- August 9-11
- August 11-13
Three-day groups are held either Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, where you would come on a Monday and leave on a Wednesday or on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, where you would come on a Wednesday and leave on a Friday. We also have five day programs which run Monday to Friday.
What Is The Cost Of A Self-Managed Program?
Cost and schedule varies depending on how many people are in your group and the number of days you are staying.
- Three-day program up to 45 people, including two workshops is $751.50
- Five-day program up to 45 people, including four workshops is $1503.00
A $100 deposit is required when you register. This deposit will be subracted from the total cost you owe.
Registration Information
Registration for the Self-Managed programs is on a first-come, first-serve basis and is online only.

Put one (1) under the quantity section, meaning your one ward is registering.

Hit the "register" button.

Pick a date you want to attend and hit the check box next to that date.

Hit the "continue" button.

Under the Registration area, type in the following (Note: do not use a NetID):

The name of your stake as the "last name."

The name of your ward as the "first name."

You will need to either put yoru church's address or your address, along with the other required fields--a birthdate, phone number, a gender, and your e-mail address.

Hit the "continue" button.

Type in the contact information. This will be the information for the leader we will be making contact with and mailing information to concerning this program. Please make srue to put address, phone number, and e-mail for this person.

Hit the "continue" button.

Put in credit card info. It will be your responsibility to be reimbursed by your ward. We only accept MasterCard or Visa.

Hit "Process Payment."

A reciept will be sent to your e-mail and also to our e-mail after you have completed the registration process.
