What Are One And Three-Day Programs?
During the summer, Badger Creek offers One and Three-day programs. With the help of a staff of well-trained people, your group will be able to have a character-building experience, while enjoying the great outdoors. Badger Creek One and Three-day Programs, located at the BYU-Idaho Outdoor Learning Center, are outdoor youth programs designed to teach leadership and engage students in intense activities, including ropes courses and other outdoor adventures. Groups will do a number of workshops within their schedule to enhance their experience at Badger Creek. The 2010 Three-day Program Workshops will include the following:
- Canoing
- Climbing Tower/Zip Line
- Team Building Workshop
- Inclined/Horizontal Log
- Giant Swing
- Horseback Riding or Black Powder Rifle
For more information, please see the FAQs page.
Participation Information
Badger Creek One and Three-day Programs are designed primarily for LDS youth groups. Participation is limited to such groups as Youth Conferences, Young Women Camps, Scouting activities, etc.
Note: In order to use any of the facilities at Badger Creek, each member of your group must sign a Liability Waiver . Print a form for each member of your group. If under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the form. The forms must be given to the person in charge at Badger Creek in order to participate. Also, please print off, read and plan to follow what is stated on the Rules and Information sheet
Cost Information
The cost to participate in the Badger One and Three-day Programs is dependent on the program options chosen by the participating group. The 2010 price is shown below:
-
$112 per person for three days, including the following:
Day one--lunch and dinner
Day two--breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Day three--breakfast and lunch provided only
Note: All workshop prices are included in the price shown above, excluding the horseback riding workshop. An additional $10 per person will be added to the amount when choosing to ride horses, rather than the black powder rifle option.
A deposit of $100 is needed at time of registration in order to hold your reservation. This may be paid with either a MasterCard or a Visa. This will be refunded at the end of the program, minus any loss or damages.
Please note that because the food is ordered and confirmed in advance for the amount of people in the group, these are set prices regardless of anyone in the group arriving late or leaving early.
What Type Of Accomodations/Meals Are Available For One and Three-Day Programs?
