| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | The student will: 1. Reach for individual potential by improving knowledge and skill of swimming 2. Write a work-out of 2000 to 2500 yards to be used in class 3. Teach outside of class at least two sessions 4. Do distance swimming 5. complete a 12-minute swim test at beginning and end of course 6. Show swimming proficiency in intermediate skills 7. Pass off dives such as pike, tuck, layout, reverse,inward, etc. |

| REQUIREMENTS: | The student will: 1. Learn by demonstration, discussion, and observation 2. Attend class and participate in drills, distance swimming, diving, swimming, practice skills, and work-out 3. Take strokes test, participate in swim meet and dive mastery 4. Pass written exams |
