| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | -Develop the ability to analyze and appreciate Russian literary texts in translation. -Be able to express thoughts more articulately and persuasively in English, and to present ideas logically, with sound argumentation and strong evidence. -Enhance appreciation of Russian culture by examining how Russia's major authors have treated cultural issues in their most famous works. |
