Department of Physical Education
The  Department  of  Physical  Education  is  committed  to  serving  a  wide  range  of  special  interests  for  the  general  student  body  as  well  as  faculty  and  staff.    The  well-equipped  Hart  Physical  Education  Building  includes  three  gymnasiums,  four  weight  rooms  with  the  very  latest  in  weight  training  and  fitness  equipment,  a  wrestling  room,  an  Olympic  size  pool,  and  a  dance  studio.

Course  work  has  been  designed  to  assist  the  undergraduate  planning  to  continue  a  four  year  education,  students  planning  to  transfer  to  another  university  to  major  in  Physical  Education,  students  who  need  to  fill  General  Education  requirements,  and  all  who  desire  to  learn  proper  methods  of  teaching  physical  activities  leading  to  fitness.    The  health  and  fitness  portion  of  the  General  Education  program  is  offered  jointly  with  the  Department  of  Health  Science.
