Mentoring Services

The purpose of the Internship & Career Services office is to assist students and alumni in marketing themselves to potential employers. The staff at the center help train students and alumni in job search techniques, résumé writing, cover letter writing, and interviewing. As part of this, we offer FREE career preparation mentoring services for all BYU-Idaho students and alumni at any of our 5 Campus locations:

  • Kimball 230
  • Smith 225
  • Rigby 246 & 248
  • Benson 233

Students can meet with trained career preparation mentors to learn and apply principles for writing effective résumés and cover letters, and interviewing successfully.

Explore the links at left to prepare your résumé and cover letter and to strengthen your interviewing skills. When you feel you're ready, schedule a mentor appointment for additional feedback and practice.
