Elder Bill Bouck was born in Salt Lake City and graduated from the University of Utah with a B.A. degree in Statistics and Economics in 1968. He worked for 38 years at Merrrill Lynch in both Miami and Denver before retiring in June of 2006. While at Merrill Lynch, he served as Operations Manager, Financial Consultant, and eventually Vice President. He continues to work as a consultant for the sales team he organized a number of years ago.

Sister Sharon Bouck was also born in Salt Lake City. She attended the University of Utah and graduated from Brigham Young University in 1971 with a B.S. degree in Home Economics and Education. Sharon has worked as a secretary for the Utah Travel Council and Dean of Admissions Office at BYU, a teacher at Olympus High School in Salt Lake City, and as Executive Director of the Utah Dairy Council. She also worked for three years as a Consumer Consultant for the Colorado Beef Board, a public relations position she created based on her prior work with the Utah Dairy Council. She retired in 1979 to become a stay-at-home mom.
