Elder Karl Tueller is an Idaho native who attended Idaho State University and graduated from Brigham Young University in 1968 with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. He received a Masters of Public Administration degree (MPA) from BYU in 1970. He has recently retired after 38 years working in the public sector with experience in economic development and public policy development. He served as deputy director to the Idaho Department of Commerce from 1985 - 2007 and was named executive director of the Idaho Office of Science and Technology in January 2002. His past experience also includes policy and budget development for New York State Government.
Sister MaryAnn Tueller was born and raised in Salt Lake City and graduated from Brigham Young University in 1969 with a degree in Elementary Education and Child Development. She received a Masters Degree in Education from Boise State University in 1973 and has 35 years of teaching experience, including 2 years in fourth grade, 13 years as a substitute teacher, 8 years in kindergarten, and 12 years as a second grade teacher. She retired in 2006.
