PATHWAYS TO NEW YORK CITY
(Aug 13 - 15, 2008)
The New York Latter-day Saint Professional Association (NYLDSPA) is pleased to announce the dates for the third annual “Pathways to New York” event on August 13-15, 2008. This event is designed to prepare college juniors and seniors for the upcoming recruiting cycle this fall semester. The Pathways event involves three days of company visits, networking, keynote speakers, reception and dinner, educational seminars, and a taste of New York City. Examples of the companies that have been visited in the past are Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Lehman Brothers, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Corinthian Capital, and other investment banks and financial institutions. Therefore, the opportunity will be limited to those students majoring in Business Finance or Accounting, who have a desire to live and work in the New York City area.
It will give the students the chance to see what the City has to offer professionally and personally. The space is limited, and there will be students from around the country in attendance. To register and for more information, come to the Internship and Career Services office at Kimball 230. The application form is available here. Registration fees($75/person), travel, lodging, and food will be the responsibility of the students, but for qualified student participants, BYUI will defray expenses by $200.
To register:
1. Complete the Conference Registration online.
2. Complete the $200 subsidy Application Form.
(a) Applications are due July 21, 2008
(b) Turn in application to Kimball 230 along with a copy of your Conference Registration.
