Trudi is originally from Spokane, WA, but has lived in the Seattle area for the past 25 years. She has three children. Her oldest daughter will be starting a master’s program this fall at the University of Denver, her younger daughter will be a sophomore at Whitman College, and her son will be a junior in high school.
Her children are by far the best part of her whole life! She is so grateful that she was able to be a stay at home mom with them. After her two girls were ready for college, she signed up for the Pathway Program and received her Bachelor of Science degree in 2 years from BYU-I in 2017. It was something she had always wanted to accomplish! After all of the studying, she just wanted to do something fun with her kids, so they skipped graduation and went on a ziplining adventure instead! She enjoyed college so much that she went on to get her second bachelor’s degree from Utah State. She will be graduating in August 2018, then continuing on to get her master’s degree in the fall.
Trudi is committed and passionate about wanting to help other students fulfill their educational goals. She has been through the internship experience and is hoping that every student will find an internship that equips them to thrive in their future careers.
Someday when Trudi has spare time, she would enjoy ice skating, gardening, and traveling. But for right now she is very happy studying, spending time with her kids, and serving in this calling.
