Ron & Cheryle Perkins

Chino Hills, CA


Sister Cheryle Perkins and Elder Ron Perkins were married in Las Vegas, Nevada in Jan. 1992 and sealed in the Los Angeles, California Temple in June of that same year. They celebrated their 24th anniversary this year.

Sister Perkins recently retired after working as a registered nurse for 37yrs. She worked 18yrs as an ICU nurse and the last 17yrs as a special procedure nurse in radiology.

Her current callings are compassionate service coordinator and visiting teacher. She has also worked in Primary, Young Women and as a Relief Society instructor.

She enjoys sewing, especially heirloom sewing for little girls, smocking, baking and cake decorating and reading.

Elder Perkins is also retired after 42 yrs in the computer industry. He worked writing programs and as an analyst debugging programs for mainframe computers. One of his most exciting assignments was writing programs for the B-2 bomber.

He currently works in the Redlands,Calif. Temple as an ordinance worker and the building scheduler for our ward building.

His interests include reading, and sports and keeping their yard looking beautiful.
