Restoration Technician-Paul Davis Restoration
Full-Time Position/Advancement Opportunities Based on Performance
Compensation: $10.00-$20.00/Hour, DOE (Averaging 40+ hours/week)
Benefits are offered after 90 day introductory period. Employee Agreement is a condition of employment.
   
This position will initially be responsible for providing on-site services to our customers, working alongside our hourly staff and field management. The Apprentice must learn to deliver expert and professional services/knowledge to our clients with the expectations of developing into a leader within the company. They must demonstrate an interest/desire to excel in all aspects of the company including technical/management/sales. The Apprentice will be the front line contact during a project and is a valuable contributor to the organization. The Apprentice must learn to deliver these services through personal contribution/activity in our service areas. The Apprentice will be asked to support other offices within our region as required by individual job or capacity requirements.
   
Essential Job Functions:
The essential functions of the Apprentice reside in four broad categories: To move from an Apprentice to other positions, the following areas must be mastered.
   
#1 Basic entry level requirements:
*Work safely in residential/commercial properties that have been damaged by fire/ water/storm.
*Survey damage within the property by evaluating and recording damage to all items within the property.
*Cleaning process for both contents and structural damage.
*Clear and professional communication with the customer and the management team.
*Successfully complete required training courses as directed.
   
#2 Financial Management:
*Work effectively to ensure productivity and job performance.
*Perform at a rate expected of their position and capability utilizing or develop new practices.
*Identify opportunities for additional sales and customer service.
   
#3 Human Resources:
*Represent the company well and within the limits of our culture.
*Embody the 10 Paul Davis Basics
*Participate in recruitment of additional staff
*Understand and live Core Values.
   

Requirements / Qualifications:
#4 Position Requirements:
*2 or 4-year post high school degree or an honorable discharge from the U.S. Armed Forces, is preferred but not required.
*Construction experience and/or knowledge preferred.
*Attention to detail.
*Exceptional communication (both oral/written).
*Technically adept with smart phone and tablet technology.
*Ability to operate within hazardous environments with care and safety.
*Must pass a review of criminal background and DMV review.
        
Additional Responsibilities:
*Willing to respond to commercial emergencies.
*Willing to respond to travel requirements.
*Participate in On-Call rotation.
*Enforce and promote the company culture and safety environments.
*Some overnight jobs are required, based on business needs.
*Other duties and activities as required but not listed.
