Leadership & Training
“We want our students to provide the kind of leadership that serves and inspires – first and foremost in their families and in the Church, in their communities and in their work.” (Clark Inaugural Address p. 2 )
It is critical to be prepared for the future. Each student will have the responsibility and opportunity to be a leader. The professional world is placing great emphasis on team work and leadership skills, and these can be learned as students act for themselves.
The Whitney Society provides training opportunities through workshops and specific training meetings. Coordinated training and leadership efforts with other societies and organizations foster good relations and provide meaningful service that are necessary to learn.
As students take advantage of these opportunities they will learn the abilities needed to lead in their respective professions, communities, the Church and in their families.
