BYU-Idaho offers many ways to advertise your message on campus. Most of the print mediums require some expenses, but there are several digital options that are lower in cost and can be reused.

BYU-Idaho offers many ways to advertise your message on campus. Most of the print mediums require some expenses, but there are several digital options that are lower in cost and can be reused.

Campus Emails send out information and announcements related to campus events. They are sent directly to your target audience on and off campus. You also have the ability to track whom the emails are sent to and whether or not they've been seen. Be sure to select the correct type of email for your message. Campus Video Network (CVN) allows you to display your message on TV screens across campus. You can use images or animated shorts to promote your upcoming events/activities as well as any announcements. The CVNs are displayed in high traffic areas at the University and are used to generate interest through graphic images and video. (learn more about CVN Ads)

Web Ads are displayed on the BYU-Idaho website to students who are signed into their account. Since the University website receives a high number of visitors, there is an opportunity to reach a large portion of your target audience. Social Media is an approved form of communication for the University as long as your social media page includes the official BYU-Idaho logo. Social media is useful for building brand awareness, executing campaigns, and sending out emergency announcements about an event. It also provides opportunity for direct communication between you and your audience, since they can often reply to your content in real-time. (view the Social Media Guide)

Review all of the different advertising channels and see what will be the best fit for your message.  It is beneficial to take advantage of these digital channels because they can be inexpensive to use once structure is operational, there is analytic information available for most channels, and content can easily be updated or distributed quickly.
