During the year, there are several office and department
moves that take place. The Moving Crew will assist in facilitating these moves.
Where possible, all office moves need to be scheduled in advance. Prior to the
scheduled move date and time the following general criteria must be followed:

All desks, bookcases, file
cabinets, and other "storage" compartments that are to be moved, must be
emptied. (Desks may need to be turned on end.) If moving to another building regular and legal size file cabinets need to be empty,
except if the move is within the same building. We require that all lateral
file cabinets be empty when being moved. Lateral file
cabinets, "especially with four or more doors," are too heavy to move safely.

All personal items that are to be
moved must be boxed or securely packed and marked to indicate possession and
where it is to be moved.
