Writer: Andrew Jensen

The BYU-Idaho Web Builder Support Team is sponsoring a Web Strategy Workshop for any interested faculty, staff and students. This workshop will cover the fundamentals of content development with expert advice on the following topics:

  1. Effective website structure and strategy
  2. Content development tips and resources
  3. Online copyright laws and regulations

Please invite anyone who will be involved in your area's website content development. The setting of this workshop will be informal and involve active discussions about each topic.

When: Monday, May 16th, from 3:15pm to 4:15pm (open Q/A until 5:00pm)

Where: Manwaring Student Center, Special Events room (MC 387)

The Web Builder Support Team will also lead open-access workshops to help web authors migrate content from the old Web Editor system and learn the new Web Builder platform.

When: Click here to see upcoming workshop dates and times

Where: McKay 364

Workshop space is limited (about 25 seats). If necessary, preference will be given to those on the first wave of the official migration schedule.

Please note that the All-employee meeting on May 12th will overlap with the first hour of the workshop. We are keeping that hour open for student employees to get assistance, if needed. The student portion of our support team will be staffing all the workshops anyway.
