The BYU-Idaho Web Builder Support Team is sponsoring a Web Builder orientation for any interested faculty, staff and students. This orientation will cover the fundamentals of the Web Builder authoring system, its web publishing templates, and where to get more help and training in the weeks ahead. We encourage all potential web authors to attend, though we will record the presentation and provide it to everyone soon thereafter.
When: Monday, May 9th, from 3:15pm to 4:15pm (open Q/A until 5:00pm)
Where: Manwaring Student Center, Special Events room (MC 387)
[The recorded orientation is now available.]
The Web Builder Support Team will also lead open-access workshops to help web authors migrate content from the old Web Editor system and learn the new Web Builder platform.
Where: McKay 364
Workshop space is limited (about 25 seats). If necessary, preference will be given to those on the first wave of the official migration schedule.
Please note that the All-employee meeting on May 12th will overlap with the first hour of the workshop. We are keeping that hour open for student employees to get assistance, if needed. The student portion of our support team will be staffing all the workshops anyway.
