[UPDATE: January 12, 2012]

Our new website will appear late Monday, January 16, 2012!

We are excited about the enhancements and updates to our website. And we recognize that change can be difficult. Please take some time to explore the new site. The navigation is different, but we believe you will find it more effective. Three tips and tricks as you look for things in their new locations:

  1. Use search. It is in the top-right of every page on the new site.
  2. Use your "audience page". We have collected the most common links and information, based on who you are, and put them on one page. Links to these "audience" pages are found at the top of the home page (the header) and also at the bottom of every page, in the footer.
  3. Use the footer. We have implemented what is called a "fat footer" that contains a very large set of frequently used links. These are similar to the "quick links" in the old site, plus many of the links from the old navigation menus!

Thank you for helping us as we work to make our BYU-Idaho website more effective!

What will happen January 16, 2012?

Since May 2011, we've been building and testing a new web system. We've invited you to participate by using and commenting on this "BETA" site. You might have heard of it!

On January 16, the BETA test site will become the official Brigham Young University-Idaho website. Every page or department site that is currently found at will be moving to our official address -

Will I still be able to access the old website?

The answer is yes! The BETA testing period allowed us to test and refine our new system. But, not every webpage could be moved to the new system during this time. To prevent broken URLs, we've linked the "old site" and the "new site" together until all pages are moved to the new system. Every webpage on the old website will still be available at a new web address -
