Come be a part of the 2013 Summer Staff at Badger Creek! BYU-Idaho Outdoor Learning Center is looking for staff members who can live on site to work with youth, help with ranch work, facilitate ropes courses, and lead team building workshops. This summer, some of the featured youth programs will be: Outdoor Youth Adventure (OYA), Leadership For Life (LFL) and Adventure For Youth (AFY). This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to help teach others and learn new skills, while living at the base of the majestic Teton mountain range. Since this job provides a unique opportunity to teach, and facilitate groups, it is a great experience, especially for people in the Teacher Education or Recreation Management majors.
This 40 hr/week job pays the student minimum wage and includes paid housing and some meals. Staff live on site at the BYU-Idaho Outdoor Learning Center in Tetonia, Idaho. Work and training will begin on June 7, 2013 and continue through August 10, 2013. There will be a mandatory staff training weekend March 8-9, 2013 at Badger Creek.
Because of the student-centered mission of the Outdoor Learning Center, applications can only be accepted from BYU-Idaho students.
